Reviews
I was gonna be a jerk and give 1 star but the Paisa was amazing, the girl who took my order was very kind and sweet and didn't talk about how I'm a lost white American from the second I stepped in the door until I got my food and the two other woman talking how bad my Spanish sucks. pero lo entiendo tus palabras, instead of being nice and asking about my trip to Medellin and Santa Marta Me ignoraste.... I'm hoping you were just having a bad day and that's now how you represent the Colombian culture Tu gente no estaría orgullosa. I was the only person solito... Podrías haberme enseñado a bailar mientras esperábamos. Proxima vez!!!
I just got an order door dashed today including a bandeja paisa and a beef empanada. Everything was delicious and authentic tasting. My only tiny complaint was that the chicharon needed some lime. Luckily I had some limes and doctored it up with a bit more salt. I was worried that the travel time to my house would diminish the flavors but everything hit the spot. Glad I tried this place out and you should too!
Great customer service and food. Great variety of dishes and drinks. I had the seafood cream soup my husband had steak and the kids chicken with rice.
Made my Caleña heart so happy. Literally tasted like my grandmother's cooking. Yes they primarily speak Spanish and I've seen previous reviews marking them down because of the language barrier. I would suggest bringing a friend to help interpret or being patient/understanding. We went for lunch and everything was perfect and delicious. We plan on going back this week and will definitely bring friends to introduce them to delicious Colombian food.
We ordered by phone to not wait there at the restaurant, we were very hungry. Once we got there they served a really good and delicious meal. It was a lot of too much, but beautiful, we took the leftovers home, we could not leave it there it was really good.
